Yakima Fire Department (YFD) firefighters responded to a residential structure fire Thursday afternoon in the 1000 block of North 34th Avenue.
YFD was called to the scene at 3:07 pm Thursday, March 23rd. Upon arrival, crews found a single-story manufactured home with smoke coming out of the attic and living space. No one was inside the residence and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters performed extensive overhaul of the area due to the fire extending into the attic. Fire and smoke damage extended through the entire residence. Initial estimated dollar loss is $100,000.
The cause is under investigation.
