The Yakima Fire Department (YFD) website at https://yakimafire.com/ has a new look.
“I appreciate the collaborative efforts of the City’s Information Technology Services Division and Community Relations Office in working with YFD to update our website,” Fire Chief Aaron Markham. “This will hopefully provide the public with more tools and information.”
The web update includes these new elements:
- YFD’s Facebook and Twitter feeds.
- A photo slide display.
- An interactive map with photos of all six YFD stations.
- A message from Markham.
The website retains popular features, such as tracking current YFD calls, Knox Box information, and news releases. It also continues to offer forms to assist the public with fire station visits, smoke alarm requests, Knox Box placement/updates and the YFD community survey.
