This past Sunday, The City of Yakima Firefighters, Mark Buskas and John Ryan competed in the 2018 Scott Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle.

Yakima Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief both set to retire February 2018

Today the City of Yakima announces the retirement of Fire Chief, Bob Stewart and Deputy Fire Chief, Mark Soptich.
Fire Chief, Bob Stewart with 30 years of service with the Yakima Fire Department.
Deputy Fire Chief, Mark Soptich with 42 years in the Fire Service, 5 of those with the Yakima Fire Department.
